The history of Beames and Associates
Beames & Associates was founded in 2001 by Peter Beames after many years of private and public practice accounting experience in Canberra. In 2003 he was joined by his brother Ross Beames and financial planner David Rae, James Watt joining the firm one year later in 2004. Since then, Beames & Associates has grown from strength to strength, solidifying its reputation in Canberra and surrounds for providing a quality product and exceptional service at an affordable price.
Beames and Associates Accounting and Financial Services Pty Ltd is a member of Count Financial Ltd., and has sold 25% of its shares to a wholly owned subsidiary of Count, Countplus. At the end of the 2010 financial year, Countplus is set to acquire the residual 75% of shares in Beames and Associates, and then is expecting to list on the Australian Stock Exchange late in the 2010 calendar year. This exciting opportunity for the staff and clients of Beames and Associates will give us access to a greater wealth of acquired knowledge which will enable to service our clients in a more streamlined manner, providing them with the right solutions to their needs, as well as giving our staff exciting opportunities for bi-lateral professional and personal development.
